The goal of the Academy is to use the study and practice of dramatic theater, film, and television as an opportunity to encourage and promote the development of creative thinking in young people. In doing so we hope to transform the way students think about themselves and the world. CVDAA offers programs for students ages 8 to 21 year round. While the academy has already transformed the lives of numerous young people through the encouragement of creative expression and the development of self confidence and self reliance, we do need support to maintain and expand. No student is denied participation in CVDAA on the basis of financial need! Please help us be able to continue offering scholarship support.

In order to qualify for a scholarship you must have a desire to learn about and take part in all aspects of theater and you must agree to attend each day at the workshop and performances.
