On Summer Camp

"As for the summer Camp program. One word, inspirational. Not only do they perform a theater production but over the time frame of 2 or 5 weeks they are also instructed by other staff members in different theatrical disciplines. They are either teachers or performers in the skills of vocals, dance / movement, voice presence on stage, Improv and Clowning to name several. The cost of the programs when broken down are only a few dollars a day, I guarantee you  could not find any program that is a better value and that your child will get in return, so many life skills that it can only make you a very proud parent."

Johnna is a local artist who currently has her hands in costuming, directing, and filmmaking. Most recently she has been putting her blood, sweat, and tears into Ampersand Film Studios, a small independent film group which she and her husband, Kane, have founded together, as well as continuing to study costuming.

Though now preferring the offstage work, Johnna's background includes over 10 years of acting training and experience, which all started right here at CVDAA and would eventually set her on her current track. She is thrilled to have started working for CVDAA, as it has been a life-changing and wonderful program for her, and giving back to a program that has so completely helped her is just about one of the most satisfying things she could be doing.
