Auditions: How to Make Theatre a Permanent Part of Your Life

1 night class for 8th graders and above Class time: Thursday January 28th from 7pm – 9pm Class Cost: $40 This two-part workshop focuses on auditions and career options. In the first half of class, you will present a 1-minute audition monologue and receive feedback and direction before presenting again. The second half of the session will focus on how to make theatre a part of your life as you continue through and after school. There will be lots of space for Q & A, so please feel encouraged to bring your list of burning questions.

Creativity is a fundamental life skill


CVDAA was created as a place where the study of theater, film and the performing arts is used to encourage and develop creative thinking in young people and in so doing transform the way they think about themselves and the world.

Financial Aid available

The goal of the Academy is to use the study and practice of dramatic theater, Film, Television and is open to all. All our instructors have been actors we understand money not being fully available!

College Level Acting Class

This Spring CVDAA will offer a College level acting class for advanced level students in the area. The class will focus on surveying several different acting styles and techniques including an overview of acting techniques.
